Description
In 2013 Sixing Liu, a former engineer at L-3 Communications' Space and Navigation division, was sentenced after exporting thousands of files about US Department of Defense missile and rocket guidance systems to China. The case is sometimes catalogued in OT incident databases because of the targeted control-system content.
Impact
Liu was sentenced to 70 months in federal prison. The Department of Justice did not publicly disclose specific operational consequences.
