Description
A fired employee of TGB Industries used retained credentials to remotely access water-station controls at Texas-area sites his former employer maintained. The intrusions were detected when station alarms triggered out of operating hours.
Impact
No release of water or contamination occurred. The incident is repeatedly cited in CISA water-sector advisories as an example of credential-revocation failure on OT remote-access channels.
