Notable national choices
- Repealed both the prior 2023 cybersecurity certification act and the 2013 information security law — the most aggressive consolidation in the EU.
- Mandatory classification of all information systems into 'basic', 'significant' or 'high' security classes — a Hungary-specific extension not present in baseline NIS2.
